Deputy Director

Similar to a Chief Operating Officer of a corporation (COO), the Deputy Director is responsible for overseeing all operations of the organization, primarily in the kitchen. The Deputy Director also coordinates marketing, volunteers, and outreach, helping to connect the Laramie Soup Kitchen with the community.

Kitchen Manager

Under the Deputy Director's guidance, the Kitchen Manager takes a lead role in the management of kitchen operations, including coordinating the efforts of all Kitchen Assistants & volunteers as they prepare and serve wholesome meals.

Works to build relationships with community partners and organizations in Laramie along with helping with some administrative tasks.​

Food Recovery Specialists

Responsible for the handling of nearly all food donations, this pair of team members picks up food every weekday from local businesses, sorts & weighs it, and then redistributes food to as many as fifteen partner agencies, helping the Laramie Soup Kitchen respond to food insecurity on a much larger scale.

Interns

Internships with the Laramie Soup are hands on opportunities to create a project, research, and develop solutions. Interns are typically hired for a 12-week term working 6-9 hours per week. Flexible schedule and potential for college credit. Contact Sarah for more information.

Currently, the Board meets twice a month, once for a work session and once for a regular Board Meeting. Additionally, Board Members volunteer time in the kitchen, for fundraising events, and on special committees when needed.
